Burghlee Park Tree Planting

Published February 6, 2025 by in

Today we planted six new Lime trees (Tilia cordata) in Burghlee Park, Midlothian. We have now planted a total of 12 trees here, forming a lovely avenue either side of the path.

We want to say a big thank you to Roper Toxicology Consulting Ltd who support Tree Time so that we can plant more trees in Midlothian. Thanks to their donations we have been able to plant many trees in Loanhead over the past few years. Last year their donations enabled us to plant the first row of six trees in Burghlee Park, and this year’s donations enabled us to plant another six today.

It is wonderful to see local businesses supporting Tree Time. If your organisation would like to help us plant more trees in your area, see our corporate support page for ways you can support us. Tree planting is a great way to enhance the environment for wildlife and local communities, and you can choose to have trees planted in your chosen area in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

We now have two rows of trees lining the side of the path with six trees on each side.
