Wee Forest

It has been great to see local communities getting involved in planting up ‘Wee Forests’ across the region. Wee Forests is the Scottish name for TinyForests®, part of a global community of practice based on the methods of Japanese Botanist Akiri Miyawaki. The ‘Miyawaki Method’ encourages accelerated forest development each one with over 600 trees being planted close together.
